We specialise mostly in insurance repairs. Which can be a range of different things from new ceilings from water damage to new timber stained front doors from a break in. Replaced or repaired gables, render, windows and architraves.
We also do repaints and the very occasional new build or renovation.
Our perfect fit will be able to cut and roll all surfaces (no spray guns here), colour match – or be willing to learn how to colour match on site by eye, know how to treat mould, water stains and a variety of common paint issues, know how to gloss doors and trims with both oil and water and by using a cut and roll method (again, no spray guns), be able to work on scaffolds, off extension ladders, be able to apply stain to timber doors, windows, trims and decks. Be prepared to perform all preperation correctly prior to painting.
Our perfect fit must be able to work alone or in a team and perform all the above alone and complete their jobs competently.
We would prefer someone who is not too restricted on working hours although it needs to be mentioned that we cannot guarantee set hours or over 30 hours every week. The hours each day can be very up and down due to the nature of the work but I can definitely do my best to offer as many hours as possible if you want them.
We work from Gympie to Tweed and past Toowoomba. Right now we have an exceptional amount of work in the Gold Coast area where we are based but also have many jobs in Gatton, Caboolture and its surrounds, bayside and some in the Sunshine Coast. We have jobs all over the place all the time but the bulk is generally where ever a big storm has hit. The weather literally controls where our next cluster of work is.
Most of our jobs start at 7am and should be able to be completed in the day or within a few hours. There may be multiple jobs on a day if there are small scopes to complete.
Our perfect fit will great with time management, will not be late to jobs, have a friendly and positive personality, be clean, courteous and respectful while working inside people’s homes. Will be compassionate – these people may have had substantial damage to their homes.

Our ideal candidate will be offered a company vehicle after training and trials to ensure the perfect fit and all candidates MUST hold a valid, unrestricted and MANUAL drivers license. The vehicle on offer is a MANUAL. This request is not negotiable.

We are very VERY much one of the more preferred painting crews with some insurance builders due to the high quality work and low issues we have year after year. The work is rather easy but the expectations are rather high.
