How to Manage a Non-Candidate

Work Health and Safety

At Aussie Painters Network, we are committed to providing our employees with a safe and healthy workplace. This includes managing non-candidates who may be working at our premises. To ensure the health and safety of everyone on-site, we have developed the following guidelines for dealing with non-candidates:

  • Ensure that all non-candidates are given the same health and safety induction as any other employee.
  • Educate the non-candidate on our policies, procedures and expectations of workplace behaviour.
  • Make sure they understand their duty to wear personal protective equipment where necessary.
  • Remind them of their responsibility to report any potential hazards they come across.
  • Ensure that the working areas provided for non-candidates are suitable and safe, and maintain these areas in accordance with our regulations.
  • Monitor their activities to ensure that they are following our safety guidelines.
  • Provide regular feedback on work performance and health and safety compliance.
  • Make sure that any machinery or equipment they use is properly maintained and regularly tested.
  • Provide access to appropriate first aid equipment in case of accidents or injuries.
  • Ensure that any hazardous materials or substances are clearly labelled and stored safely.
  • Investigate any incidents or near misses involving non-candidates promptly and take necessary corrective action.

By following these guidelines, we can ensure that our non-candidates are given the same level of safety and protection as any other employee at Aussie Painters Network.

If you have any questions or concerns about our approach to work health and safety for non-candidates, please contact us via email or phone. We are committed to providing a safe workplace for everyone
