At Aussie Painters Network, we believe in providing a safe and comfortable working environment for our staff. All applicants must meet certain criteria to qualify for a position within our network. This includes ensuring that they are trained in all relevant safety policies and procedures, and that they are fully aware of the occupational health & safety (OH&S) standards applicable to their role.
We place great emphasis on the importance of Work Health and Safety (WHS) precautions. All potential employees must be able to demonstrate their understanding of these regulations, as well as their ability to adhere to them in their daily work tasks. This includes familiarity with relevant legislation and codes of practice, such as the Australian Standard AS/NZS 4801:2001, and the Occupational Health & Safety Act 2004 (Vic).
We also require our staff to be certified in first aid and CPR. This is especially important for those roles that are physically demanding or involve hazardous materials. A current working with children check is also a mandatory requirement for certain positions.
At Aussie Painters Network, we strive to provide a safe working environment for all of our employees. To ensure this, we take the appropriate steps to verify that our applicants are qualified to perform their duties and meet relevant safety standards.
This includes verifying qualifications, carrying out regular reviews of safety policies, and providing ongoing training on WHS issues for all staff members. By taking these steps, we can ensure that all of our employees are provided with the best possible working environment.
We also value feedback from our staff and encourage them to speak up if they ever feel uncomfortable or unsafe in their workplace. We believe it is important for everyone to take responsibility for their own safety, and our employees play an integral role in helping us maintain a safe work environment.
